Procedure
This surgery seeks to highlight the lateral and central marks of the abdomen, simulating the signs of the rectus abdominis and oblique muscles. It is indicated for patients with little fat deposits in the abdomen to obtain a natural result. It cannot be performed on overweight or obese patients. It requires the use of VASER (see explanation of lipolysis) to recreate the grooves. This is a surgery that is generally performed under general anesthesia and in some specific cases it can be done under sedation and local anesthesia. It lasts 2 hours and is ambulatory.
